Antonio Ferri Municipal Museum

A permanent exhibition of works by the painter Antonio Ferri donated to Bocairent due to his close personal bond to the town.

The collection is structured in three thematic areas. The first is made up of 32 paintings inspired by the Italian Quattrocento that make up the most distinctive pictorial style of Antonio Ferri’s art.

Secondly, ‘The essential of the gesture’ collects 39 pieces from the 80s to 2012 that illustrate the evolution of the painter as well as the different genres worked throughout a very fruitful career.

Finally, the largest block is dedicated to the abstract, the style that has brought Antonio Ferri the greatest international fame, with an explosion of bright colors and diverse shapes that immediately capture the visitor’s attention.
